The quality of carrots and the conditions of carrot processing and packing workshops of Duc Chinh Commune Agricultural Service Cooperative and Tan Huong Agricultural Product and Food Processing JSC. in Cam Giang district basically met the requirements of the Japanese market.
Especially, Japanese consumers have switched to frozen products and fresh juices due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. Therefore, Hai Duong's fresh agricultural products have great potential for export to this market.
However, only about 5% of carrots are exported to Japan, not commensurate with the potential. The cultivation of carrots is mainly based on farmers’ experience, resulting in uneven quality.
