Carrots in Duc Chinh commune, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province were mainly exported to the Republic of Korea, Japan, Laos, etc.
360 ha of carrots in Duc Chinh commune had been basically harvested by April 17, with an output of more than 15,000 tons, equivalent to the last crop.
Farmers in the commune also obtained more than 40,000 tons of carrots grown on 1,100 ha of land in other localities outside Hai Duong.
Of these, more than 32,000 tons were exported, mainly to the Republic of Korea (15,000 tons), and the rest to Japan, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, and Middle East countries.
Export price was 8,000 VND/ kg, equivalent to last year’s figure.
