Hoang Nam Phat Cooperative exports 1,800 tons of carrots

Hoang Nam Phat cooperative in Gia Xuyen commune, Hai Duong city has purchased about 4,000 tons of carrots since early 2024, a surge of 30% compared to the same period last year.

The cooperative exported 1,800 tons of carrots to the Republic of Korea, Laos, and Cambodia. The rest was provided for GO and Winmart supermarkets, Aeon malls, and wholesale markets in Vietnam.

Hoang Nam Phat Cooperative focuses on underwriting products of farmers in the provinces of Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Bac Ninh, etc. this crop with an average purchasing price of 5,000 VND/kg, up 500 – 750 VND/kg over the previous year.

The underwriter covers 1,000 ha of carrots in Hai Duong, mainly in Cam Giang and Nam Sach districts.
