Hoang Nam Phat Cooperative purchases carrots for domestic consumption and export to Japan, Korea, and Malaysia.

Hoang Nam Phat Cooperative in Gia Xuyen commune, Hai Duong city, is underwriting more than 60 ha of carrots in Hai Duong, Thai Binh, and Bac Ninh provinces.

It is also purchasing carrots from many concentrated growing areas in Hai Duong province for 5,000 VND/ kg, 1,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last year. 

The cooperative provides about 60 tons of carrots for the market each day, an increase of approximately 10% year on year.

Around 20 tons of the carrots are sold to Japan, Korea, and Malaysia, and the rest to Winmart stores and wholesale markets in Vietnam.

There are about 1,000 ha of carrots under concentrated farming in the province with an output of around 80,000 tons. 80% of which are exported to the Republic of Korea, Japan, Thailand, the Middle East, the EU, etc., and the rest are consumed in central and southern regions of Vietnam.
