Science enhances production

Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Dai An industrial park, Hai Duong city is one of 60 hi-tech industrial and supporting enterprises in Hai Duong province. The wholly Korean-invested company specializes in manufacturing spare and auxiliary parts for motor vehicles and engines.

With the motto of putting the needs and requirements of customers first, Hyundai Kefico Vietnam always aims to establish an intelligent management system from product technology, production technology, and quality control to corporate culture.

In 2024 alone, more than 1,300 creative ideas were applied to production, helping to improve the firm’s product quality, contributing to perfecting the entire factory's process.

In the new year 2025, Hyundai Kefico Vietnam will focus on investing in research for new, environmentally friendly product lines.

The enterprise aims to exceed the output milestone of 81 million products, with revenue expected to increase by 325 billion VND compared to 2024.

Eastech Vietnam Co., Ltd. is one of typical hi-tech enterprises in Cong Hoa industrial park, Chi Linh city. Eastech Vietnam has always affirmed itself as a leading unit in applying technology to the production and assembly of headphones and audio speakers.

The enterprise has spent billions of VND on modern machinery and equipment for production and is providing jobs for more than 1,500 workers with per capita income of nearly 8 million VND/ month.

Thanks to the application of modern science and technology in production, the amount of the company’s products in 2024 rose by 20% against previous years.

Foundation for new era

All production lines in the 17,400 m2 premise of Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd.’s Hai Duong Assembly Plant resumed operation on the morning of February 3. With two production shifts, the factory is expected to roll out 14,000 Ford cars in 2025.

Ford Vietnam General Director Ruchik Shah said Hai Duong Assembly Plant is one of the first automobile manufacturers in Vietnam to achieve ISO 9001, ISO 14001, QS 9000 and ISO/TS16949 – 2002 quality certificates and also one of Ford Motor’s key factories in the Asia Pacific region. It always adheres to global production processes with the highest production quality and highly-automated operating system.

“In 2025, we will make even more efforts to consolidate our leading position and create new standards for the Vietnamese automobile industry. This will be a year of many spectacular changes for Ford”, said General Director Ruchik Shah.

The presence of Hyundai Kefico Vietnam, Ford Vietnam, Eastech Vietnam, Sumidenso Vietnam, and many other hi-tech industrial enterprises in Hai Duong has significantly contributed to economic restructuring towards modernization.

These enterprises have not only created jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers and made great contributions to the local budget but also promoted the spread of technology and improvement of the skills of workers in the province.

In addition, strong investment in industrial parks like Dai An, Phuc Dien, Nam Sach, and Cong Hoa is creating favorable conditions for Hai Duong to continue attracting large technology corporations and forming a modern supply chain, contributing to making Hai Duong a leading hi-tech industrial center in the region.
