Lychees in Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province are being sold at high, stable prices and exported to many demanding markets.
Thanh Ha district had harvested some 12,000 tons of lychees by May 28, or more than 54% of the total yield in 2024, according to the district People’s Committee.
Despite the low output, lychees were sold out shortly after harvest.
Farmers are currently focusing on harvesting and selling the remaining lychees for 30,000 VND/kg, about 12,000 VND/kg higher than the same period last year.
This year’s export markets of Thanh Ha lychees remain stable like previous years, but the number of orders is larger.
Lychees are being exported to a lot of fastidious markets, such as Australia, Japan, Canada, France, the US, South Korea, Singapore, the UK, and Thailand, by Red Dragon Co., Ltd., Nhan Hoa Food Processing Co., Ltd., Ameii Vietnam JSC., etc. aside from the traditional market of China.
