Policy beneficiaries under concentrated quarantine supported with meal costs

As from June 1, Hai Duong provincial authorities stop assisting people subject to medical isolation at healthcare facilities or other establishments and locations because of Covid-19 (concentrated quarantine for short) with VND80,000/ person/ day for meals.

Poor and near-poor households under concentrated medical quarantine will still be given the amount from the budget.

If subject to concentrated medical quarantine, meritorious people under the Ordinance on People with Meritorious Services and relatives of meritorious people entitled to monthly allowances from VND1,624,000 downwards or earning no more than VND1,624,000 each month, and monthly social allowance beneficiaries will be supported with VND80,000/ day from socialized sources for meals.

Meritorious people under the Ordinance on People with Meritorious Services and relatives of meritorious people entitled to monthly allowances from VND1,624,000 upwards or earning at least VND1,624,000 each month will be assisted with VND40,000/ day and have to pay VND40,000 when they are quarantined.

As for other difficult cases, depending on specific conditions, district and commune Steering Boards for Covid-19 Prevention and Control may consider suitable support for meals from socialized sources.
