Leaders and former leaders of Hai Duong province, along with other delegates, have gathered to commemorate the glorious 85-year journey of the provincial Party Committee.
The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province held a solemn ceremony at the Xu Dong Cultural Center on June 10 evening to mark the 85th founding anniversary of the provincial Party Committee (June 10, 1940 – 2025).
In his commemorative speech, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang emphasized that this was a politically significant event, marking a strong development of the provincial Party Committee and opening a new chapter as Hai Duong, together with the entire nation, embarks on an era of growth and prosperity.
Secretary Tran Duc Thang stressed that these 85 years were a journey not only marked by victories and achievements, but also by the blood, tears, and unyielding will of past generations.

Looking back on the 85-year journey filled with immense hardships and challenges, yet full of glory, Hai Duong takes great pride in its heroic tradition. The province deeply values and strives to preserve the revolutionary achievements attained under the Party's leadership.
With this pride comes a heightened sense of responsibility among every official, Party member, and citizen in contributing to the continued development of their homeland.
In the time ahead, Hai Duong will enter a new phase of development, with a pivotal milestone being the implementation of the Central government’s directive to merge the administrative boundaries of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.

This mergence is not only a geographic adjustment but also a strategic opportunity to restructure the development landscape, enhance governance models, optimize resources, and unlock new growth drivers, serving the target of building a modern development hub with regional and international competitiveness.
Secretary Tran Duc Thang expressed strong confidence that with its rich tradition, aspiration for progress, and the determined spirit of reform throughout the provincial Party Committee, generations of officials and Party members in the province will continue to carry forward and build upon this proud legacy, further honoring the cultural and heroic traditions of the land.
