Hai Duong province is forecast to suffer cold nights and mornings in several days, with temperature likely to drop to 16 degrees Celsius.
A new cold wave has affected Hai Duong province since the night of November 3 and will last until November 17, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.
Forecasts indicate that during the period, Hai Duong will experience scattered showers, northeast winds at level 2 or 3, and cold nights and mornings.
Temperature will fluctuate from 17 - 28 degrees Celsius on November 4 and further drop to 16 - 25 degrees Celsius from November 5 - 7.
It is expected to be rainless at night and sunny during the day, with northeast winds at level 2 from November 8 - 13.
People, especially the elderly and children, should keep warm during the cold days to avoid contracting respiratory diseases, experts warn.
