Extreme cold about to come with strengthened cold air

As forecast by the provincial Hydro-meteorological Station, due to the influence of weakly-strengthened cold air, variable clouds, rainless nights, and sunny days will remain in Hai Duong on December 26 and 27. It will be cold with northeasterly winds at level 2 or 3.

From December 28, the cold air will be strongly strengthened in combination with weak aloft wind convergence, making it possible to be cloudy, rainy, and showery. It will be extremely cold with level 3 northeasterly winds.

From December 30, 2022 to January 2, 2023, the cold air will be stable and then weaken, resulting in variable clouds, scattered rain by night, and fewer clouds and sunshine by day in the province. It will still be bitingly cold with northeasterly winds at level 2.

From January 3, the cold air may be weakly re-strengthened, only causing extreme cold at night and early in the morning. In the daytime, it will be sunny and less cloudy.

Due to the continuous activeness of the cold air, temperature in Hai Duong will fall by 3 – 4 degrees Celsius in the coming days, bottoming out at 11 – 13 degrees Celsius and peaking at 18 – 20 degrees Celsius.

Thanks to rain, dryness will significantly decrease with the humidity averaging 70%.

During the New Year holiday, the weather will be relatively favorable for outdoor entertainment activities.
