Hai Duong province is forecast to experience a new cold wave around February 14, which is predicted to become stronger from February 16.
Hai Duong province continues to be affected by strong cold air on February 10, making it severely cold, cloudy, and rainy in some places, with temperature dropping to 12 – 16 degrees Celsius.
The cold air is expected to weaken and move eastward from February 11, adding light fog in the early morning and sunshine in the afternoon to the weather in Hai Duong.
A new, weak cold wave is likely to blanket the province around February 14 and then become stronger on February 16, resulting in cold, cloudy, and drizzly weather.
Temperature during the day will range between 16 and 22 degrees Celsius.
In the remaining days of the week, the cold air is forecast to weaken and move eastward, causing the weather to be cold and cloudy, with light rain and fog at night and in the morning, and sunshine in the afternoon.
Severe and harmful cold at night and in the morning in the coming days may cause negative impacts on the health of people, crops and livestock, expert warns.
In addition, rain, drizzles and fog may affect outdoor activities and reduce visibility of people in traffic.
