Cold weather is forecast to remain in Hai Duong province in the remaining days of February.
Hai Duong province is likely to experience severely cold, cloudy, and rainy weather from February 24 due to the impact of strong cold air in combination with high-altitude westerly winds.
Temperature may drop to as low as 12 degrees Celsius and not be higher than 16 degrees Celsius, forecast the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.
This kind of weather is predicted to last until the end of February 26 when the cold air stabilizes and gradually weakens.
Hai Duong is forecast to remain cold in the remaining days of February, with the lowest temperature 15 - 16 degrees Celsius.
There will be scattered rain, showers, and thunderstorms in the evening and morning, with the possibility of whirlwinds, lightning, hail and gusts of wind, forecasters say.
