Hai Duong struck by strong cold wave

Hai Duong province experienced a strong cold wave on January 22 morning, which is forecast to bring scattered rain and thunderstorms and push temperature in the locality down to 10 – 12 degrees Celsius.

Severe and harmful cold, accompanied with cloudy and rainless weather, will remain on a large scale in the province from January 23 – 25, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.

Temperature these days is predicted to further plummet to 8 – 9 degrees Celsius.

Continental cold high pressure is likely to affect the province on January 26 and 27, adding drizzles to the severe cold weather in the locality, with the lowest temperature 9 – 10 degrees Celsius.

The continental cold high pressure is expected to become stable on January 28, pulling temperature a little higher to 11 – 12 degrees Celsius.

Residents, especially the elderly and children, should pay attention to keeping warm during these severely cold days.
