Hai Duong strives for digital economy to make up 30% of GRDP by 2030

Hai Duong’s data strategy by 2030 specifies goals for several aspects, including data infrastructure development; digital data in developing the digital government, the digital economy, and the digital society; and information and network security.

Especially, Hai Duong aims to make the digital economy account for 30% the province's GRDP and fully build data sets for agriculture, industry, trade, and energy.

The province will complete information digitization, storage, and sharing in combination with building synchronous digital tourism platforms for all tourist attractions in the province to popularize and develop Hai Duong tourism, making it truly a spearhead economic sector with sustainable development.

Hai Duong will also provide and ensure accurate and timely updates of all open data sets on the workforce, employment, and recruitment needs and corresponding qualification and skill requirements.

All data on public transport infrastructure, means of transport, warehouses, yards, and logistics centers will be digitized and promptly updated.

The province will also assist the transport sector in solving difficulties and problems to meet the need of building a supply, delivery, and logistics chain.

To realize the goals, the provincial People’s Committee requires relevant departments and local authorities to give priority to building, upgrading, and completing specialized database and application systems to form a unified and shared database.
