Hai Duong’s import-export turnover up nearly 12%

Hai Duong province recorded more than 8.899 billion USD in import-export turnover in the first half of 2024, up nearly 12% year on year, reported the Hai Duong Customs Branch based on processed customs procedures.

Six-month export value neared 4.728 billion USD, an increase of close to 12%, while six-month imports were valued at over 4.171 billion USD, a rise of more than 11.3% compared to the same period last year.

During the period, the branch processed 234,876 import-export declarations, up more than 16.7% year on year.

Brother Industries (Vietnam) Ltd. was the biggest exporter in the province in the first six months of the year with nearly 404.4 million USD in export turnover.

Ranking second was Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. with an export turnover of nearly 304.5 million USD.

The limited liability companies of Sumidenso Vietnam, Regent Garment Factory, and Sumiden Vietnam Automotive Wire finished third, fourth, and fifth with more than 289 million USD, over 287 million USD, and nearly 144.5 million USD in export turnover, respectively.

Brother Industries (Vietnam) Ltd. also took the lead in the top five importers in the province in the first half of 2024 with close to 346.3 million USD in turnover.

Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. came second with an import turnover of more than 247 million USD.

The limited liability companies of Sumidenso Vietnam, Hyundai Kefico Vietnam, and Regent Garment Factory completed the top five.
