Hai Duong’s import-export turnover surpasses 10-billion-USD mark

Hai Duong’s imports and exports were valued at over 10 billion USD in the first seven months of 2023, 53.6% of which was attributed to exports, according to the Hai Duong Customs Branch.

The province’s import-export turnover in July neared 1.6 billion USD, the highest from the beginning of the year and 6.04% higher than June’s figure.

This is a positive signal of Hai Duong-based importers and exporters in particular and import and export activities in the province in general.

10 major import-export enterprises in the province recorded a total turnover of close to 482 million USD in July, accounting for 30.8% of the province import-export turnover.

Brother Industries (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. posted the largest export turnover of 76.2 million USD, followed by Regent Garment Factory Ltd. with 58.3 million USD.

Brother was also the biggest importer with an amount of 73.7 million USD. Sumidenso Vietnam Co., Ltd. came second with 41.5 million USD in expenses for imports.
