Hai Duong’s gross regional domestic product in the first half of 2025 is estimated to reach 62.879 trillion VND, up 11.46% over the same period last year, surpassing the province’s growth target.
Hai Duong province’s gross regional domestic product in the first half of 2025 is estimated at 62.879 trillion VND, a year-on-year increase of 11.46%, exceeding province’s projected economic growth scenario for 2025 (11.4%), according to the Department of Finance.
Specifically, the production value of the agro-forestry-fishery sector is estimated at 6.516 trillion VND, up 6.35%; the industry and construction sector at 35.372 trillion VND, up 14.18%; the service sector at 15.259 trillion VND, up 8.09%; and taxes less subsidies on products at 5.732 trillion VND, up 10.41%.
The province’s economic structure continued to shift in a positive direction in the first six months of the year as the proportions of the agro-forestry-fishery sector, the industry and construction sector, the service sector, and taxes less subsidies on products were 9.76%, 56.53%, 25.11%, and 8.61% respectively.
Hai Duong maintained solid economic growth and achieved its projected target thanks to the province’s implementation of consistent and decisive measures. Departments, sectors, and localities in the province also effectively carried out their assigned tasks.
For 2025, Hai Duong aims to achieve an economic growth rate of 12%.
