Hai Duong braces for strong cold wave

A new cold spell hit Hai Duong on February 7, causing drizzles in many parts of the province, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.

The cold air is forecast to continue affecting the province on February 8, resulting in scattered light rain and severe cold weather.

Temperature may drop to 12 – 14 degrees Celsius.

The bitter cold is predicted to last until the end of February 9 (the last day of the lunar year), pushing temperature down to 11 – 13 degrees Celsius.
