2023 FDI inflows into Hai Duong industrial parks near 900 million USD

Industrial parks (IP) in Hai Duong province lured 889.16 million USD in foreign direct investment (FDI) from the beginning of 2023 to November 12, nearly 4.5 times higher than the year’s plan, according to the provincial IPs Authority’s Investment Management Division.

The provincial IPs Authority granted investment registration certificates to 45 new FDI projects with a combined capital of 771.39 million USD during the period.

Meanwhile, 117.77 million USD was added to 26 existing projects in the province.

Some IPs attracted a lot of new FDI projects, such as expanded Dai An, An Phat 1, Luong Dien – Cam Dien, and Lai Cach IPs.

IPs in the province have so far drawn 278 secondary FDI projects from 23 countries and territories with a total registered capital of about 5.87 billion USD.

The provincial IPs Authority has actively shortened administrative procedures. It now takes only 5 – 10 days to license a new investment project instead of 15 days as prescribed.

Besides, all administrative procedures are processed on time.

The authority also frequently coordinates with relevant departments, boards, and sectors to directly remove difficulties and obstacles for investors.
