Hai Duong’s FDI inflows reach 343 million USD

Industrial parks (IP) in Hai Duong province attracted 343 million USD in foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first nine months of 2023, 71% higher than the year’s plan, according to the provincial IPs Authority.

The authority licensed 39 projects with a total investment of 237 million USD and approved the addition of 106 million USD to 21 projects during the period.

Most of the new FDI projects are in the fields of manufacturing, processing, electricity, and electronics and from the countries and territories of Hong Kong, Singapore, Republic of Korea, China, Taiwan, etc.

IPs that attracted many projects include An Phat 1, Luong Dien - Cam Dien, Lai Cach, and expanded Dai An.

IPs in the province have so far lured 345 secondary investment projects with a total registered capital of over 5.7 billion USD.

About 260 secondary projects have been put into operation, and investors are completing related procedures for the rest.
