It goes through the wards and communes of Lien Hong, Thach Khoi, Gia Xuyen, Tan Hung, and Ngoc Son of Hai Duong city, requiring the clearance of nearly 800 families’ land.

The route will form a beltway around Hai Duong city, reducing traffic load for the downtown area and connecting the locality with Ha Noi, Hai Phong city, and neighboring provinces, creating a strong driving force for socio-economic development to concretize the amended master plan for the city until 2040.
