Kim Thanh prioritizes industrial development in association with urban and service development

According to the adjusted planning for Kim Thanh district until 2030 with a vision to 2050, the district will be an area with comprehensive industrial, agricultural, urban, and service development, in which industry will be the spearhead leading socio-economic development.

The district has an important position in terms of economy, politics, and culture in the northeast of the province and is the connection point of traffic and socio-economic exchanges between Hai Duong and Hai Phong city.

The approved orientation of Kim Thanh district planning takes Phu Thai township as the center to expand and develop two satellite urban chains to the west and the south of the district.

Regarding economy, priority will be given to industrial development in association with urban and service development with five regions, including the development of a central urban area as an administrative, cultural – social, service, and commercial center with an urban public work system; industrial, urban, service, and commercial development; development of urban areas, cultural tourism, and ecological agriculture; development of ecological and experience tourism and a high-quality agricultural area along the Rang river...

As planned, the district will have had six more urban areas by 2030.
