Vietnam is a member of the Greater Mekong Subregion, along with two provinces of China. Therefore, the Chinese vehicles are allowed to circulate in Vietnam's territory, including Hai Duong province.
The Hai Duong Department of Transport has announced a list of nine vehicles, including seven cargo and two passenger ones belonging to five Chinese enterprises, entitled to go through the province.
The vehicles were licensed to transport on roads in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) and granted Temporary Admission Documents (TAD) for transport on GMS routes by the Chinese Ministry of Transport (detailed list).
Vietnam is a member of the GMS, along with Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and Yunnan and Guangxi provinces of China. Therefore, the nine vehicles are allowed to circulate in Vietnam's territory, including Hai Duong province.
The operations of the vehicles will be inspected and monitored by the Hai Duong Department of Transport's inspectors in coordination with functional forces within their competence.
The department has also notified the provincial Police and People's Committees of the province’s districts, cities, and town to direct functional forces to supervise the Chinese vehicles on GMS routes in accordance with regulations.
