Active aloft wind convergence is forecast to bring thunderstorms to Hai Duong province this week.
The combination of a trough and wind convergence is likely to make Hai Duong province cloudy on August 19, with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms in the early morning and sunshine in the daytime, forecast the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.
Active aloft wind convergence is predicted to cause scattered showers and thunderstorms in the province from August 20 – 22.
As the wind convergence gradually weakens from August 23 onwards, rain is expected to occur in only a few places of Hai Duong province, with sunny days and southeast winds at level 2 or 3.
Thunderstorms is forecast to lower temperature in Hai Duong province in the coming days, with the highest temperature 33 degrees Celsius and the lowest temperature 26 degrees Celsius.
