Hai Duong braces for 3-4 cold waves in Jan

Cold air is forecast to cause scattered light rain and level 2-3 northeast wind in Hai Duong province from January 3 morning, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.

Temperature may bottom out at 15 – 17 degrees Celsius and peak at 20 – 21 degrees Celsius on this day.

The weather is expected to be slightly warmer from January 4 – 6 as the cold air gradually weakens.

The province will have light rain in some places, accompanied by level 2 northeast wind and higher temperature, from 16 – 24 degrees Celsius.

Another cold spell is likely to hit the province from January 7, pushing temperature down to 15 – 20 degrees Celsius.

3 – 4 cold waves are predicted to affect the province this January, according to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.

Severe and harmful cold is likely to occur in the second half of the month and last 2 – 4 days each time, with temperature falling to 11 – 13 degrees Celsius.
