The 2022 Vietnam Fair in Kagoshima was simultaneously co-organized at Cen Terrace Tenmonkan and AEON Mall Kagoshima on July 17 morning by Kagoshima prefecture, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, and many other units.

Hai Duong took part in the fair with a booth introducing fine handicrafts and OCOP products of the province, such as Hoang Gia mung bean cakes, Chu Dau ceramics, Tu Ky's Xuan Neo embroidered paintings, Thanh Ha lychees, Long Hai jelly, Kiep Bac lotus tea, etc.

In his opening speech at the 2022 Vietnam Fair in Kagoshima, Governor of Kagoshima prefecture Shiota Koichi happily said this year's fair was held with a desire to give people in the prefecture an opportunity to learn and care more about Vietnam.

At the same time, this was a chance to promote flag carrier Vietjet's plan to open a direct route between Kagoshima and Ha Noi.

The governor was cheered and moved by the participation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan under the leadership of Ambassador Vu Hong Nam and a delegation from Hai Duong province led by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung in this year's fair.

On behalf of Hai Duong provincial leaders, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung presented Thanh Ha lychees - a typical specialty of Hai Duong province - to Governor Shiota as a souvenir.
