In the first six months of 2025, seven localities in Hai Duong province exceeded their voluntary blood donation targets for the entire year.

According to the Hai Duong provincial Red Cross Society, over 50 voluntary blood donation drives were held province-wide during the first half of 2025, collecting nearly 11,000 units of blood, an increase of nearly 2,000 units compared to the same period last year. Notably, more than 80% of donors were repeat participants.
There were seven localities surpassing their 2025 voluntary blood donation targets, namely Hai Duong city, Kinh Mon town, and the districts of Tu Ky, Gia Loc, Binh Giang, Thanh Mien, and Thanh Ha.
Also in the first six months of 2025, local steering committees for voluntary blood donation campaigns honored and rewarded 391 individuals, 48 collectives, and 24 families for their outstanding contributions to blood donation efforts across the province.
