Ford Vietnam's budget payment surged by 239% year on year and made up 67% of the total budget payment of seven key enterprises in Hai Duong province.
Ford Vietnam Co., Ltd. paid more than 13,000 billion VND to Hai Duong budget from 2015 to 2022, according to the provincial Taxation Department.
The company contributed more than 2,471 billion VND to the State budget managed by the tax sector from the beginning of 2023 to October 19, a surge of 239% year on year and accounting for up to 67% of the total budget payment of seven key enterprises in the province.
The high budget payment was attributed to positive sales of the enterprise.
It sold 26,484 vehicles in the first nine months of 2023, a sharp increase of 71% over the same period in 2022 (15,518 vehicles) and making up 13.9% of the total sales of members of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA).
Ford Ranger CKD recorded the highest sales among six lines of Ford Vietnam with 10,307 units sold in the first nine months of 2023, equivalent to nearly 39% of the company’s total sales and up 18% compared to the corresponding period last year.
Ford Everest ranked second with nine-month sales hitting 6,673 units, accounting for 25% of the total sales and hiking by 90% year on year.
Ford Vietnam’s assembly plant in Hai Duong province has a total investment of 185 million USD and a capacity of 40,000 vehicles/ year.
