Biting cold to continue covering in Hai Duong this week

Cold air is expected to continue affecting Hai Duong province on December 25, making it severely cold at night and in the morning but sunny in the daytime.

Temperature may drop to 9 – 10 degrees Celsius and peak at 18 – 19 degrees Celsius, while humidity may range between 41% and 54%, according to the provincial Hydro-meteorological Station.

The cold air is forecast to be weakly strengthened from the night of December 26 to December 27, resulting in scattered rain, strong winds, and extremely cold nights and mornings in the province.

The lowest and highest temperatures these days will be 10 – 11 and 19 – 20 degrees Celsius, respectively.

It is unlikely to be rainy but sunny at noon and in the afternoon in the province from December 28 – 31. Though temperature may increase to 21 – 22 degrees Celsius, nights and mornings will remain very cold.

Those with respiratory diseases, especially children and the elderly, are susceptible to infection on days when the temperature difference between day and night is large.

They should limit going out on extremely cold days and eat enough nutrients to improve their health and avoid contracting diseases.
