13 new public investment projects in Hai Duong proposed

The Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Duong province has proposed 13 public investment projects.

There are five projects in traffic, two in information technology, one in headquarters construction, two in health care, one in culture, and two in education, all of which will be realized with the provincial budget.

Specifically, the five traffic projects consist of the construction of a bypass of national highway 37’s section in Gia Loc district; a belt road of Cam Giang district town, national highway 38, and Cam Dien – Luong Dien industrial park; a road connecting national highway 17B and Dinh bridge in Kinh Mon provincial town; and ring road I’s section from Vo Nguyen Giap Boulevard to the extended Dai An industrial park, and the renovation of provincial road 393 in Thanh Mien district.

Total investment in these works is estimated at over 2,200 billion VND.

The project to build the headquarters of the Forest Management Board has a budget of 17.2 billion VND.

The information technology projects, including the upgrading of radio and television equipment and application of information technology in activities of Party agencies in 2024 and 2025, have a total investment of nearly 53 billion VND.

The health sector has the projects to construct new blocks at the provincial General Hospital, build and upgrade wastewater treatment systems at the Psychiatric Hospital and 4 district-level Medical Centers with nearly 791 billion VND in investment.

The cultural projects are building three senior high schools and the provincial center for fostering good students with a total budget of nearly 123 billion VND.
