Nine public investment projects considered

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung speaks to conclude the regular July meeting

Mr. Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong province, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, on July 8 afternoon presided over the regular July meeting to hear and give opinions on a report on proposing and adjusting investment in a number of public investment projects using the Central budget and key projects to realize the resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung basically agreed to the content and scale of projects to build a bypass of provincial road 398B from national highway 18 to Ben Tam lake, a road from Dong Viet bridge to national highway 37 (both in Chi Linh city), a bypass of provincial road 391 in Tu Ky district town and Van To commune of Tu Ky district, and provincial road 394B from national highway 5 to the expanded Phuc Dien industrial zone in Cam Giang district; dredge and reinforce Phu-Sat irrigational canal in Binh Giang district; and upgrade, renovate, and repair Bach Dang guest house and the meeting hall of the provincial People's Committee and the adjustment of the construction of a concentrated aquaculture area in Ninh Giang district.

Regarding a project to build a road from national highway 37 to Con Son pagoda in Con Son – Kiep Bac relic site, Chi Linh city, the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee required relevant units to absorb comments of participants in the meeting to work out a synchronous and unified construction plan for the whole route, which must be connected and suitable to the special national relic site.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung affirmed that the nine projects considered at the meeting were important ones which would promote the provincial socio-economic development.

The Department of Planning and Investment should seriously study the comments to supplement and complete the report on investment proposal and adjustment, focusing on clarifying the role and position of the projects in the development of each region and area.

The report must show the conformity of the projects with the general planning and the plan to use land and public investment in the 2021 – 2025 period. This is the basis for the provincial authorities to decide on investment in the order of priority to effectively use the budget.
