Thanh Ha lychee garden opening, export inaugurating ceremonies scheduled for May 20

The events are expected to facilitate lychee consumption at home and abroad in 2024 and the following years.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong province and Thanh Ha district authorities have co-organized a meeting on the organization of ceremonies to open export lychee gardens and inaugurate the export of Thanh Ha lychees, and a lychee harvesting festival this year.

Participants in the meeting agreed to hold the events on May 20 morning with the attendance of about 300 guests.

In particular, the export lychee garden opening ceremony and the lychee harvesting festival will take place in Thanh Quang commune, Thanh Ha district.

The ribbon cutting ceremony for export of Thanh Ha lychees will be organized at Cao Xa international station in Cao An commune, Cam Giang district.

The events are aimed at creating highlights to promote Thanh Ha lychees in particular and Hai Duong province in general, helping to facilitate lychee consumption at home and abroad in 2024 and the following years.

They will also contribute to propagandizing lychee experience tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.

Thanh Ha district has 3,285 ha of lychees this year, including about 1,700 ha of early ones (accounting for nearly 52% of the total area in the district) and 167 production unit codes for export.
