Scattered rain forecast in Hai Duong this week

It is likely to be cloudy in Hai Duong province on August 14 due to a weak combination of a trough and high-altitude wind convergence, forecast the provincial Hydrometeorological Station.

There will be sunshine and fewer clouds at noon and in the afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms at dusk and night, with rainfall of 10 – 30 mm or higher in some areas and temperature 26 – 33 degrees Celsius.

Rain is predicted to continue dispersedly occurring in the province on August 15 and 16, with temperature ranging between 27 and 34 degrees Celsius.

The combination of the trough and high-altitude wind convergence tends to become stronger from August 17 – 19, resulting in lots of clouds, rain, and even thundershowers in Hai Duong province.

There is a possibility of whirlwinds, lightning, and gusts of winds during rainstorms.

The trough is forecast to gradually weaken from August 20, leading to variable clouds, sunshine in the daytime, and scattered thundershowers at dusk and night in the province.
