Rain calms down heat in Hai Duong

Cold air will cause lots of clouds, rain, showers, and scattered thunderstorms in Hai Duong from May 8 – 10, ending the unpleasant hot weather from the beginning of the season, forecast the provincial Hydro-meteorological Station.

Temperature will range between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius.

There will be more thundershowers from May 11 – 13 due to the influence of strengthened continental cold high pressure, with temperature from 22 – 27 degrees Celsius.

The total rainfall in the whole period is predicted to reach 70 – 90 mm. Chi Linh city and Kim Thanh and Cam Giang districts will see the highest rainfall of 90 mm, and Hai Duong city the least of 70 mm.

Forecast rain and heavy rain accompanied by whirlwinds, lightning, hail, and gusts of wind are likely to affect agricultural production and cause inundation in low-lying areas.
