Phu Thai industrial park was set up in 2011 in Phu Thai township and Kim Lien commune, Kim Thanh district, 75 km from Noi Bai international airport, 83 km from Ha Noi downtown, 22 km from Hai Phong seaport and airport, and 58 km from Quang Ninh deep-water seaport.

Invested in by Nam Tai International Co., Ltd., the industrial park covers an area of 57 ha, with 41.6 ha of industrial land for lease. The occupancy rate in the industrial park has so far reached 96.4%.

The western part of the industrial park in Phu Thai township is planned to attract investment in building workshops and warehouses to develop the garment and textile industry (without washing and dyeing), production of goods serving the garment and textile industry, electronic assembly, warehousing services, and light industries satisfying environmental protection requirements.

Meanwhile, the eastern part of the industrial park in Kim Lien commune is planned to lure investment in the garment and textile industry (without dyeing), factories producing goods serving the garment and textile industry, electronic assembly, woodwork, warehouses, services, and light industries using advanced technology ensuring environmental protection requirements.
