The ‘Radiant Hai Phong’ art show aims to spread a message of joy and pride, fostering unity and public support ahead of the upcoming merger of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city.
More than 300 artists from Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city will take part in the art show “Rang Ro Hai Phong” (Radiant Hai Phong) on the evening of June 30.
The program will simultaneously take place at the City Theater Square in Hai Phong city and the Xu Dong Cultural Center in Hai Duong city, starting at 8 pm.
Hai Phong artists will perform in Hai Duong, while Hai Duong artists will perform in Hai Phong.
According to People’s Artist Khanh Hoa, Director of the Hai Phong Contemporary Art Theater, the City Theater Square will feature around 250 performers from the Hai Duong provincial Center for Culture and Arts, the Hai Duong Cheo (Traditional Operetta) Theater, Hai Phong Intermediate School of Culture and Arts, and the Navy Performing Arts Troupe.

Meanwhile, over 50 artists from the Hai Phong Contemporary Art Theater, the Navy Performing Arts Troupe, dance groups, and 20 Hai Duong students will jointly perform at the Xu Dong Cultural Center in Hai Duong.
The program will include standout performances about the two localities, including a brand-new musical piece titled “Hai Phong Vuon Minh” (Rising Hai Phong).
