Hai Duong’s target to send more than 4,500 laborers abroad in 2023 was exceeded in less than half a year.
Many Hai Duong laborers choose to work in Japan and the Republic of Korea
Hai Duong province sent nearly 5,000 laborers abroad to work from the beginning of the year to June 12, up about 10% year on year, according to the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs.
Hai Duong originally aimed to take only 4,500 people abroad to work under contracts in 2023.
Japan remained the top destination of Hai Duong workers with more than 2,400, followed by Taiwan (China) with nearly 2,300 and the Republic of Korea with over 70.
The above countries and territory have great recruitment demands for post-Covid-19 economic recovery and development.
These also are traditional markets of Vietnam, which are safe and offer stable incomes, thus chosen by many laborers.
