Ninh Giang invests over 22.2 billion VND in enlarging route from Khuc Thua Du temple to provincial road 396

The route from Khuc Thua Du temple to provincial road 396 will be widened from 6 m to 9 m

Phase 1 of a project to renovate and upgrade a 1,464.8 m route from Khuc Thua Du temple in Kien Quoc commune to Dong Xuyen commune (section from the temple to provincial road 396) was commenced in early October with a total investment of 22.2 billion VND.

Accordingly, the road surface will be widened from 6 m to 9 m and covered with A1 high-grade asphalt concrete. The curbs will be 1 m wide. At the point of connection with provincial road 396, the road surface will be enlarged to have one more lane 3.5 m wide.

Under the project, a drainage system will also be built, and some works serving agricultural production, lights, etc. will be replaced.

The work, invested in by the Construction and Investment Project Management Board of Ninh Giang district, is expected to be completed in April 2023.

The route expansion will create favorable conditions for locals and tourists to visit Khuc Thua Du temple, Cuc Bo carpentry village, etc.
