Established in 2007, Lai Vu industrial park is located in Lai Vu commune, Kim Thanh district, 94 km from Noi Bai international airport, 64 km from Ha Noi’s centre, 38 km from Hai Phong seaport and airport, and 68 km from Quang Ninh deep-water port.

The industrial park is planned to attract investment from specialized factories and enterprises serving the shipbuilding industry; factories and enterprises specializing in electronic assembly, informatics, mechanical engineering, high technology, textiles, garments, thermal power units serving textile lines, bonded warehouses, and other light industries.
Lai Vu Industrial Park One Member Co., Ltd. is the investor of the industrial park.
