Repairing the expansion joints of Phu Luong bridge

703 Investment and Construction JSC., responsible for repairing national highway 5, said it would locally barricade Lai Vu bridge from the morning of February 13 to repair its expansion joints, expected to last 36 days.

Planned to take place from February 6 to March 14, the repair was delayed by about one week due to the paving of areas near the bridge.

To ensure traffic safety and minimize traffic jams, the unit suggested that workers and people often traveling on the route proactively arrange time and schedule to cross Lai Vu bridge. Workers should go to work 15-20 minutes earlier than usual to avoid being late because of time-consuming travel.

There are many factories and enterprises near Lai Vu bridge, resulting in a large number of workers traveling in the area at peak hours.

Earlier, the repair of the expansion joints of Phu Luong bridge caused continuous traffic jams in the area.
