Hai Duong province is home to 33 vocational institutions and businesses engaged in vocational education, many of which tend to associate with foreign organizations in manpower training.

The vocational schools have two main forms of international cooperation.

They may cooperate with international businesses to train and provide human resources. The businesses support the schools with facilities and equipment to facilitate enrollment and increase job opportunities for graduates.

The institutions may also coordinate with international universities, colleges, and organizations in student exchange, lecturer training, technology transfer, and language training support; send students abroad for study or work; etc.

International cooperation, regardless of form, is an opportunity for vocational schools to develop and keep pace with the increasing integration trend, according to Nguyen Minh Vy, Vice Principal of Waterway Transport College No. 1 in Hai Duong city.
