Hai Duong province will improve the quality of vocational education to have good human resources to meet development requirements.

Hai Duong aims to attract 50 – 55% of high school students to the vocational education system, offer retraining and regular training for about 50% of the workforce, and have 2 – 3 vocational education institutions approaching the level of G20 countries by 2030.

These are the province’s basic goals to fulfill the Secretariat’s Directive No. 21-CT/TW dated May 4, 2023 on further innovating, developing, and improving the quality of vocational education to 2030 with a vision to 2045.

The Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs has strengthened information, propaganda, and career guidance in many localities since this month to realize the goals.

The department provided information of labor market demand for vocational education institutions and businesses having recruitment ordering programs and enrollment and training orientations in accordance with practical needs.

From now to the end of the year, relevant units will coordinate with localities of the province to review, supplement, and synchronously perfect policies and laws on vocational education under the province's authority in association with the labor market in the direction of openness, connectivity, and modernity.

The province prioritizes land for vocational education, encourages the attraction of investment to the development of private and foreign-invested vocational education institutions suitable to the province’s labor, production, business, and geographical location advantages…
