Ban required the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to provide specific guidance on mechanisms and policies to support compensation for site clearance.
The department must clarify issues related to land recovery plans and fully apply legal provisions.
He also asked localities to consistently implement guidelines and policies on site clearance and strictly manage land to prevent problems arising during site clearance.

Nam Sach district has recovered 708,691 m2 of land for the project, completing 99.96%. The owner of the remaining ground, covering an area of 281 m2, has not agreed with the compensation plan.
“The cost of relocating a petroleum pipeline system in the project construction site amounts to more than 23 billion VND, higher than the estimate of more than 9.5 billion VND,” added Chau.

The standing vice chairman also required the Department of Construction to collaborate with localities to soon remove difficulties in site clearance related to planning on the basis of checking every project.
All information related to projects and plans for land recovery and resettlement must be public and transparent.
