Leaders of the two provinces proposed directions and contents of cooperation and exchange of experiences in various fields.
Secretary of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang believed that future cooperation between the two localities will be substantive and more effective, contributing to deepening the relationship between Hai Duong and Thai Nguyen and promoting the development of the two provinces.
Thang made the remark at a meeting between the Standing Boards of the Party Committees of Hai Duong and Thai Nguyen provinces on exchanging experience in Party and political system building and socio-economic development in Hai Duong city on September 8.
The secretary of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee thanked Thai Nguyen leaders for sharing their valuable experiences, good and creative practices for Hai Duong to refer to and apply to the province.
“Hai Duong and Thai Nguyen should continue to exchange experience, learn from, coordinate, and support each other in all activities,” said Thang.
It is necessary to creatively and flexibly apply successful experiences of Thai Nguyen province in Hai Duong and vice versa, Thang noted.
On her side, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai said the two provinces have great potential, strengths, and similar characteristics to cooperate for mutual development.
“The experience and good practices shared at this meeting will be selected and applied to each locality and contribute to helping Hai Duong and Thai Nguyen achieve their goals in all fields in the time to come,” said Hai.
She expected that Hai Duong and Thai Nguyen would expeditiously concretize cooperation contents by signing a memorandum of understanding for effective and appropriate implementation in the two localities.
The two leaders also discussed and exchanged experience in administrative reform, investment attraction, digital transformation, Party member management, and Party development.
They proposed directions and contents of cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fields of economic development, culture, society, defense, security, and Party and political system building.
