Hai Duong, Vientiane bodies to strengthen comprehensive cooperation

Hai Duong has been and is always ready to support its twinned province of Vientiane, Lao People's Democratic Republic, with its experience and methods in the process of construction and development.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong province Tran Duc Thang made the remark at a reception for a delegation from the Organizing Board of Vientiane province, led by head of the board Chantha Bin Phosalat, on March 28.

Thang warmly welcomed the delegation, emphasizing the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos and between the two provinces.

Chantha thanked Hai Duong leaders for their solemn and cordial reception.

She affirmed that the Vientiane provincial Organizing Board and the Organizing Board of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee will continue to inherit and promote solidarity and friendship.

The two sides will strengthen comprehensive cooperation and exchanges of experience to contribute to deepening the solidarity and friendship between the two countries, two localities, and two sectors.

Chantha would like to continue learning about good experience and methods of Hai Duong for reference and application in Vientiane.

She respectfully passed on Vientiane provincial leaders’ invitation to Hai Duong leaders and wished Hai Duong more rapid and sustainable developments.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Duong province Tran Duc Thang accepted the invitation, promising that he would pay a working visit to Vientiane in an appropriate time.

He wished the Vientiane delegation a meaningful and effective trip in Hai Duong.

At the reception, the leaders also gave an overview of the socio-economic development and political system building in the two provinces.

As planned, the delegation will work and exchange experience with Hai Duong provincial Party Committee’s Organizing Board, School of Politics, Department of Finance, Investment Project Management Board…

Hai Duong and Vientiane provinces have a close relationship. The two localities were twinned in 1984 and have had many exchanges and cooperation activities for mutual development.
