Upcoming cooperation contents between Hai Duong and Bac Giang Hai Duong and Bac Giang provinces will strengthen coordination, research, and exchange of information about formulation and implementation of provincial planning for the 2021 – 2030 period with a vision to 2050. The two provinces will focus on promoting the development of a traffic system to enhance inter-provincial connection. Specifically, the two localities will jointly build Dong Viet bridge and its approaches to open the whole route to traffic before September 2024. Bac Giang province will extend provincial road 293 to Vinh Nghiem pagoda and construct a bridge across the Luc Nam river linked with Con Son - Kiep Bac road. Hai Duong province will strive to build the remaining section connected to Con Son - Kiep Bac road before 2025. Bac Giang province will add a route from provincial road 293 to provincial road 398B to its plan to connect Con Son - Kiep Bac special national relic site and Thanh Mai pagoda in Chi Linh city, Hai Duong province, to Suoi Mo and Tay Yen Tu tourist sites in Bac Giang province. Hai Duong province will plan an inland waterway terminal (passenger port) to form a waterway tour from Kiep Bac temple in Hai Duong to Vinh Nghiem pagoda in Bac Giang. The two provinces will continue to jointly request the Government and the Ministry of Transport to soon enlarge and connect national highway 37’s Chi Linh – Luc Nam – Kep section with Ha Noi – Lang Son expressway, build Cam Ly highway bridge, and restore Kep – Ha Long rail route. The two localities will continue to work closely with Quang Ninh province to soon complete a dossier on Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and landscape complex for submission to UNESCO for world heritage recognition. The two provinces will strengthen coordination in management of the exploitation of natural resources and minerals and environmental protection, especially in bordering areas, and effectively control waste sources to improve the quality of water in Cau and Luc Nam rivers. |
