Each student in Hai Duong province may register for up to two preferences for admission to two different public senior high schools, listed in order of priority.

Students in Hai Duong province smoothly registered for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025 - 2026 academic year on May 17 and 18, according to a survey conducted by reporters from the Hai Duong Newspaper and Radio – Television.
Junior high schools will print out and give registered candidate lists to homeroom teachers to help their students verify information by cross-checking with relevant documents in the students’ files.
After registration, each student will be provided with a candidate code by their school, which allows them to log into the exam management software to verify their personal details, confirm exam registration, select admission preferences, and check testing locations, among other functions.
Each student may register for up to two preferences for admission to two different public senior high schools, listed in order of priority (first and second choice). They may also apply to two other kinds of educational institutions under the same priority format.
For Nguyen Trai Senior High School for the Gifted, students taking the specialized mathematics exam may choose only one preference, either the mathematics class or the informatics class.
Meanwhile, students taking the specialized English exam may register preferences in the following order: English, French, and Russian. If a student is accepted into a higher-priority class, the subsequent preferences will not be considered.
After 5 pm on May 23, no changes or additions to preferences will be allowed.
On May 24, schools will update students’ 2025 graduation information and review and correct errors in the candidates’ information.
This marks the fourth year the provincial Department of Education and Training has implemented online registration for senior high school entrance exams.
