Seven sources of revenue in Hai Duong province have met 2024 estimates.
Total domestic budget revenue of Hai Duong province in the first eight months of 2024 approximated to 17,206 billion VND, up 2% over the year’s estimate and 59% over the same period last year, according to the provincial Taxation Department.
Seven sources of revenue met the year’s estimates, especially the non-State economic sector with 2,735 billion VND in revenue, an increase of 1% compared to the year’s estimate and 48% year on year; the Central State-owned business sector with nearly 429 billion VND, up 2% and 55%; and land rent with over 347 billion VND, up 12% and 74%.
Revenue from land use fees alone reached nearly 1,992 billion VND in August and more than 6,182 billion VND in the first eight months of the year, 34% higher than this year’s estimate and 3.26 times higher than the same period last year.
Revenues from the remaining sources were all relatively high compared to the assigned progress. Notably, revenue from the foreign-invested sector neared 4,623 billion VND, equivalent to 78% of the year’s estimate and up 8% year on year.
The above results were achieved thanks to the province’s synchronous implementation of various measures, especially intensification of administrative procedure reform and improvement of the investment and business environment to promote business development.
In addition, the tax sector implement tax incentive policies for enterprises in accordance with the Government's direction.
