Hai Duong has two high-tech businesses

There are more than 100 enterprises applying new, advanced technology… to production in the province

The Ministry of Science and Technology has certified SD Global Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Hai Duong as high-tech businesses.

SD Global Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% South Korean-invested enterprise with a total investment of nearly 20 million USD.

The company specializes in manufacturing and testing protective glass, camera glass for mobile phones, and production process for LCM in the expanded Dai An industrial park, Cam Giang district.

It has many important foreign partners, including LG Corporation.

Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Group in Dai An industrial park, Hai Duong city.

The enterprise operates in the field of producing automatic electronic engines, environmentally friendly systems, and smart sensors.

The company increased investment by 50 million USD in 2022, bringing the total investment in its project to 400 million USD. This is a typical FDI project with the largest ratio of investment to land in the province’s industrial parks.

The value of high-tech industrial production of the two businesses accounts for about 8.5% of the total industrial production value.

The average growth rate of high-tech industrial production value in 2021 and 2022 approximated to 12.3%/year.

Besides, more than 100 enterprises in the province are applying advanced, new, clean technology..., which has been appraised by the provincial Department of Science and Technology.

Their projects are in the fields of manufacturing electronic components, tools, and metal shapers, researching on and experimenting natural and engineering sciences, treating wastewater, etc.
