Hai Duong provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has fully disbursed capital allocated to the job creation program, benefiting more than 3,000 borrowers.
After nearly one month of implementation, the policy credit system in Hai Duong province has fully disbursed the entire job creation funding entrusted from the provincial budget.
Out of the total 300 billion VND entrusted to the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, 240 billion VND was allocated to the job creation, maintenance, and expansion program; 50 billion VND to the social housing loan program; and 10 billion VND to loans for individuals who have completed their prison sentences.
By June 2, the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies had fully disbursed the capital allocated to the job creation program, benefiting more than 3,000 borrowers.
As of the same day, total outstanding social policy loans in the province stood at 5.86 trillion VND, up 6.4% compared to the end of 2024, with 88,904 active borrowers.
The job creation loan program recorded the highest outstanding debt, totaling 1.953 trillion VND (33.3% of the total outstanding loans) with 15,816 borrowers. It was followed by the clean water and rural sanitation program with 1.621 trillion VND (27.7%) and 59,244 borrowers. Ranking third was the program for newly out-of-poverty households, with 1.257 trillion VND in outstanding loans (21.5%) and 22,786 borrowers.
